About Our Founder:

Zack Vucurevich, the founder of Whetstone Habitat, is a certified wildlife biologist with a wildlife and fisheries management degree from West Virginia University. With a lifelong passion for engaging others with the outdoors, Zack combines scientific expertise with a deep love for nature. He focuses on working with nature through controlled disturbances, timber stand improvements, invasive species control, and supplemental food plot regimes to create thriving wildlife habitats.

In addition to his hands-on work, Zack is an accomplished outdoor writer. He shares his knowledge and passion for land management and conservation through various publications. He is dedicated to helping private landowners grow and hunt bigger deer while promoting healthy, sustainable game populations.
